Today, Harry Gillanders and Pat Treanor, the original founders of Gola Furniture as we know it today, together with Harrys two sons Richard and Ross run the company and are very much hands on in all areas on a daily basis. Richard joined the business in the late '90's after graduating in Estate Management and Ross in 2006 after his graduation in Accountancy. Overall we have a very loyal and honest work force, some of which have been here for almost 50 years, all contributing to the end result of producing quality, value for money furniture which is backed up by an excellent customer service.
Back in the early days of the business, Gola specialised in upholstery and foil furniture, but since 1988 and under the watchful eye of our in house designer and technical expert, Mr Noel Rutherford, the company has specialised in solid wood and veneered furniture and that is what Gola is known for today. Today we are one of the last remaining manufacturers of furniture in Ireland. We are an approved AIS and MINERVA supplier and supply some of the best independent and multiple retailers in the UK and Ireland. We are a progressive company and always keep in step with changing trends, so our furniture collections cover everything from the traditional to contemporary, offering a wide choice to suit all tastes and lifestyles.
